Has anyone been watching the price of the HD650? Around the holiday season, it was $300 at numerous stores. However, I was checking today and the cheapest seemed to be $325. Does anyone have any insight into when the price will drop again?

They may never drop again. I know last year when I spoke to ttvj he mentioned Sennheiser had just increased his cost. The trend if anything seems to be price increases.

I got my 650s from an authorized dealer for $325, no it wasnt cheap but I think they are well worth every penny. Even if they did come down in price in 6 months that would be ok since I'm getting lots of enjoyment from them right now.

I'm just guessing, but I doubt the HD700 (if that's what it will be called) will be released anytime soon.

i got mine around christmas for 270 on amazon, new. they are up there now (marketplace) for 260.

The ones for $260 are used. If I were going to buy a pair of HD650, I'd want to get a used pair anyways.

I almost bought one for $260 new a couple of months ago. Decided to try the HD580 first instead. Didn't like it, and that's where the journey ended.

i got mine for 300 thhere not too long ago
after shipping and everything it was just about 315

its probably the best deal you can find
