HD650 chipping, should I take it all off?

what do you guys do with your senns? Mine has no noticeable flaking or chipping, and I usually leave in on a wood floor. Course I leave em at home, not portaphones to me.

Do you have a very small head? the smaller the head the less the headband has to flex when you're putting them on etc.

Thanks for all the info, Mike and everyone. I've had my HD 600s for about four years and haven't had a problem yet. The 650s are just about three months old. Maybe I'll get lucky, but then again, my head is pretty huge...
