Hey Head-Fi,
For some reason, I'm preferring the sound of the HD600's out of my Xperia Z, rather than my FiiO E10?
I've noticed a few things:
On the FiiO E10, some instruments, back singers (don't know what they're called haha), and other small details are less pronounced and almost absent. Almost like everything is compressed. Power is not an issue, low-gain 2 mark is more than loud enough.
On the Xperia Z, the detail seems to be on par with the E10, however during fast, intensive songs you can clearly hear the phone struggle (hear bits of static here and there).
The E10 itself powers my K240 MKII's quite well and I have no qualms with it, but the HD600 the Xperia Z seem to be a better match for me..
How is this possible?
