Wow! the px200's are really appealing. I was thinking about getting a couple pairs of lower-cost headphones for some friends.

My girlfriend I've been wanting to get a cheap pair of cans for and the same with my band-mate.

I'm even thinking of getting another pair for myself. I was thinking of ordering the px200's and sr60's and then deciding which I wanted to keep and giving the other set away. I have too many places to spend money in and not enough money to spend though.

Good find though.

Edit: WOW, 280's are $49.99 with the shopping cart special from there. That's very tempting. I'm trying to save up for an amp/source too. Agh, this forum and it's taunting! The 280's may not be much different than my trackmasters (in fact, maybe a bit worse or a bit better, or just plain different sounding) but the price is just so ridiculously low.

I just purchased my 600's from amazon.com for 240 minus a $25 mailin rebate. That also included an extended 5-year warranty since amazon is a licensed senn retailer. Do you guys think the extra $35 for an additional 3 years to the warranty is worth it?

I think the 280s is quite establishedly worse than the trackmaster, but anyway.
Some great deals!

Debating about the same thing as I have a similar order 'in process' with Audio Advisor. Don't know eCosts return policy, but AA and Amazon may have a better one (in case you feel the HD600s aren't for you). I've returned phones to Amazon before without problems (just had to pay for shipping both ways - it was free to me).

Thanks for the heads-up, mxs1030. I can't believe I caved and clicked on the checkout button

. The free shipping did it (but their is a $5.95 'handling' fee).

This sure lowers the asking price for used HD600's now.

they should be new.

They've also got (lesser deals)
HD650 for $340
PX100 for $30

V600 for $74.

Indeed. I'm tempted to get the HD600 even though I already have the HD580, which everyone seems to agree offers 95% of HD600's sound...

I would try some cable upgrades or a tube amp first before going from a 580 to a 600.

A used MG Head would be that much for example.

blessingx - audio advisor has a no return unless defective policy, if memory serves.

I have not had a problem returning an unused item to Audio Advisor for a full refund (less shipping). I think they give you 30 days.
