Hi,
I’m doing my first re-cable and have problem with Cardas small plugs.
Connectors in those tiny plugs don’t hold solder, so I don’t know how to keep my wires in place. What I’m doing wrong?

Problem solved. I discovered flux silly me. Hehe.

Yes, flux is your friend. I mutilated my Cardas connector's while trying to solder to them.... so I put black heat shrink over them.

Also out of the two pins on each plug, the bigger pin is - and the smaller is +.

Actually, the larger pin is ground (-) while the smaller pin is signal (+)

I wired em that way on mine and it sounds fine? Odd.....

Wait sorry I put the +/- symbols on the wrong area! I meant to say it the way you did.

I'm sure both would sound "fine", but it would sound better non-inverted.
