HD600/250 owners: Which portable amp do you recommend?

Try the iBasso PB1 (or PB2) and also the SR-71B. Good voltage sources with high peak swings.

Most have had good results with the Graham Slee Voyager as well.

I normally use my HD600 with a desktop amplifier, but that's because of size issues (I mainly use IEMs when I'm out of the house or in the office).

iBasso P4, especially with the AD797s installed (with the discrete transistor buffers).

I concur that the P4 is a great budget option. I've been running my HD650 off my AHA-120 (which I'm selling because I don't need a portable) but it beat (imo) the P4, E9 and O2 fairly easily. Spendy though!

Have you have a chance to compare the P4 with the O2? How do they stack up?

I've got the iBasso P4, RSA SR71A, RX MK2, Continental V2 on top of the popular, smaller portables. My favorite open can is without doubt the HD600 but I've never worn them outdoors. However, I really like my Touch > iStreamer > SR71A or RX MK2 combo.
