Thanks, I'll wait a bit on my next big purchase. I just tried listening to the 555s though just the zero dac and the sound is very different. I have to say I am pretty happy with my current set up.

I love my Senn 555's. I am trying to find similar sounding phones but closed. My wife complains that she can hear the sound from my 555's.

Now if you sell off the amp, and don't listen to the system for a month, and then plug the 555's into a iPod headphone jack.... guess what,pure music flowing like water, great clarity, powerful bass and wide sound stage.

There is upgradity, so there should be downgradity too, no?
