The provisional problem is people are being spoon-fed marketing lies for the sake of commercial gain. I noticed some artists now are using Vinyl for their releases but the biggest problem is they're very highly priced. So again, it's aimed at people with deep pockets.
I only own a couple of records now, Pink Floyd - The Endless River (Mint Condition), The KLF - The White Room so not very much. If I ever get another turntable I'm be looking for collectible and rare vinyl releases you can't get on download or CD format.
Mastering for vinyl means they can't hit the volume so hard, which hopefully will mean cleaner and more dynamic recordings with more musicality than a sterile sound. I've always been a mid-fi rather than hi-fi guy though, so I'm quite easy to please.
