Hey guys, First post here,
I'm hoping someone has the experience to give me some advice here. I am interested in a nice audio setup for music production, however only using VST's ( computer plugins and stuff, Ableton Live, various synth plugins, no actual recording). I recently build a nice pc (~$1000), but I am currently only using on board sound. I was wondering if you could give me any tips for a pair of headphones and an amp/sound card. I recently saw Sennheiser HD 700s for $760. My friend told me that 700s are usually not worth the money, either go 650s or 800s, but I though that this was a rather stellar deal. My budget is around 900$. What would you recommend?
