bump. well while last time it cured itself this time its not.

frankly its driving me nuts too. at present i get no text editer options, nothing shows other than a big white, empty reply box. if anyone can help please do.

oh and tried tried clearing cache, updating java, clearing cookies but notehing at all is working

it hapens in firefox, palemoon and waterfox. other browsers work but then they have issues "directly accessing the clipboard" so just using another browser isnt at present a very suitable option.

In my Mac, I'm seeing Firefox work fins on 41.0.1 and what was I believe 40.0.2 before upgrading, and in Chrome, I'm using 45.0.2454.101 (64-bit), and I'm getting both editors.

If you can provide me with screenshots, your OS version, and the browser versions, I can file a ticket for this.

Hi Mark,
Head-Fi/Huddler uses CKEditor, which is a javascript based wysiwyg html editor.

Is there a chance something (like an antivirus) has turned off JS completely in your browser/browsers?

  • What AV are you using? perhaps it has a dedicated setting for system wide JS toggle.
  • Did you try manually checking if JS is disabled in one of the affected browsers? It could help understand the problem. Here's how to do it in Firefox:
