Do guys really think these are bass light, some times I think I got Pro II version. But the packaging is same as you guys have with small red sticker
I got mine from LMUE.
3- bass-heads, this is not your iem. No it doesn't lack anything, it just did not give extra emphasize to bass.
It isn't bass light at all, but i use sony hibrids tips, not the double flange.
I would say B3's are not lacking in bass but boom. Every instrument that supposed to have a bass sound comes through, however when listening to EDM or hip-hop, you definitely won't feel like you're "in da club" where they blast the subwoofers. B3 will never sound like that, no matter how loud you amp it, and it was never meant to be.
Ok so I thought I got a bass heavy pair, but seems in general they have good amount of mid bass.

I wouldn't say it's bass light.. just not bass heavy, I guess?
As the it says in the review on the front page:

I've switched from Heir tips (these are similar to the stock tips with the red inside, but with a slightly larger bore) to the white/opaque silicon ones. What I've found is that their is a bit more boom, but it overall it perhaps veils the overall sound. Soundstage is also reduced slightly. Generally speaking, I guess I would not recommend the silicons, but ymmv.
+1, spot on!
I'd also like to add that after getting the B3's my preference for bass has changed pretty radically and while I initally found them to be bass light that's not the case any longer.
I personally don't find the Topping NX1 boosting bass at all.
You definitely need an amp and right one with correct output impedance I guess. Without amp they sound a lot worse. But with amp I can see why they get lot of love here. But again as I said it doesnt work well with all amps.
