You that have done that and feel happy about it, type that down.
I thought by doing that we will see which one, people feel most satisfied with.

Just to compare a little.

those are all good headphones It'd be hard for someone to sell them and I doubt if they did they'd probably miss them later on or regret it.

I myself haven't owned any of those headphones so I wouldn't know personally.

I sold the grado rs1 (high too harsh for me) for a sennheiser hd600 and i sold that one in favor of the sennheiser hd650! I will sell or keep the hd650 for the new sennheiser(2007-2008)...no need for me to go shop elsewhere...

before the grado i had the 580 jubilee edition...so i am back again...

Have you heard anything about a new sennheiser?

yes, according to the people at headroom(headroom has extensive contacts within sennheiser and the engeneers) sennheiser engeneers are busy with the latest...it suppose to be something new and spectacular. so, no elektrostat or dynamic..i read here on the forum supposedly planar system...

For planar type of speakers, look at magnepan...

I've owned the hd650, rs1, and rs2 - and sold them all. Have heard, but never owned, the k701. The hd650 (w/ Zu) is the only one I might consider re-purchasing in the future.

I've probably given it a hard time in the past, but they sound pretty darn good with the right amp and it's hard to fault at that price level. No wood or leather to worry about damaging, so you could toss them around a bit without having a heart attack.
