I chanced upon this when i was looking for some headphones. I stumbled onto a website that was having The Mother Of All Headphone draw.

After a brief search on the headphone and IT IS THE SONY MDR-R10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Errr.. I had touched and listened to R10, about 16 years ago

Errr.. if I remembered correctly, the source were very special too, the Sony CDP-R10 and DAS-R10. Cannot forgets the warmness, delicate and soothing sound. Very special phones indeed.

BTW, it's not all that rare. The R10s (usually more than 1) have been at most of the meets I've been to.

Uncle at Jaben always has these give aways. Usually it's a donated amp or IEM's but every once in a while..... All you have to do is register with Jaben and post your entry in the appropriate thread.

Yes drop by his store if you're ever in Singapore. He's big on give aways, especially if you're a girl hahahah. I saw him give a Dt770 for free to a guy who bought a DT990 once.

Plus I heard the HE90 Orpheus there once too.

Holy crap. This is worth a shot going for. The one time I tried R10s they were nice, but not amazing, possibly because they needed a better amp than what I had at the time.
