Hello, I have a Gator Case that fits my Z7M2 very well. Only issue is the jack placement and whether to choose to leave the cable attached, which creates a tight bend on the cable or disconnect/connect them every time, potentially causing wear at the mating points. Good case though...

Put the headphones in the other way around?…earpads on ‘top’? … more room …

Thanks, I never thought to try it that way, but I just tried it. The design has a contour just for the cans, otherwise reversing the way they are put in doesn't allow for it to close. Here's an empty view.

Essentially the same case as the one I posted and use and yes they can only go in one way

Indeed. Aside from the cable connection issue, the only drawback would be no carrying handle. Otherwise it's a solid case IMO. Zippers never snag, quality construction.

Cable is Lavricable Grand @ 1.2m.
I now disconnect the leads every time and place them in the Lavricable baggie, placed inside the case together.
