Probably another 16 hours until we open presents here- although my mom wants to open them up tonight. My guess is she saw the credit card statement of how much my dad spent on her gift the other day. (he's normally cheap, so this is going to be a big surprise for her).

Christmas this year sucks though. Dad's overseas, and my Mum and sister are working all through Christmas day. To top it all off, I have to work boxing day. Damn healthcare jobs...

Drove to work at midnight (damn you nightshift!) and the roads were empty, not a soul about apart from me. Seems everyone's stayed in. 6 hours 15 minutes until I go home and then Christmas really starts.

Next year is going to get better as well as more expensive

$600AUD down the drain in January on IEMs, followed by another $100-ish on a mini3 kit and some other bits and pieces.............
