I had a Reconnaissance Concero HP (DAC/Amp Combo), which I thought was superrrrrrrr airy and very very detailed. But too bad I find it lacked bass and also sounded a little bit digital compare to R2R.

Would still be interested to try Reconnaissance Concero HD (DAC only) one day lol.

I also found Mojo 2 to be very musical sounding. I think all 3 items are good at different things.

Yeah, imo the Chord Mojo 2 is the DAC the Resonessence HD wanna be. Resolving while staying Musical.
Nah, i'm kidding (kind of) but the Mojo 2 is very resolving i have to say.
Edit: comparing the Mojo 2 to the Modi Mulitbit there's not much difference in the sound honestly.
The Mojo 2 is a bit more leaner but ever so slightly. And has maybe a tad bit more decay and tad more resolving but is it 300 bucks more decay and soundstage? No, not at all. . Like i already said the good DACs don't give each other a big difference in soundquality. So I would be happy with anyone of those two devices enjoying my music. Both are awesome.
