Halifax doesn't really have a good "headphone scene" unfortunately ....

In the Maritimes, PEI has probably had the most headphone meet activity in recent years, I attended one myself and it was cool.

One of these days I'm going to host a Head-Fi Maritimes meet in Halifax with free beer, cuban cigars and a BBQ. ...oh, and of course there will probably be some headphones there too ..

hahah, yea... I guess we can fit some listening time in... somwhere.. lol if anyone does get it togther, myself and a friend who has 650s would be more than willing to come, fyi I ended up not getting new 650s due to wallet issues so im working on getting some used 600s instead

I'm from Nova Scotia, though I'm not there at the moment... I also have very few high-end shiny things to show off... If I were to come (which does sound interesting...) I would merely be a mooch.

Again, I am still down for a meet, I've got a pair of hd600s, and a close friend of mine has hd650s and the both of us are willing to come if we can get some people together!

funny you should mention HDs... just bought a used pair of Senn HD 595s. Probably incomparable to 600/650s, but similar to some extent

From what I hear the 595s are a little more in your face with the front row acoustics, whereas the 600/650s more laid back or larger sound stage, but perhaps if we got something going we could hear first hand!
