HA-INFO U2 PLUS DAC

Just a bit of info, if people end op in this thread looking at this amp.
I ended up returning mine, cause the DAC was emitting a high pitched buzz whenever connected, and the volumepot, had quite a bit of imbalance and noise. This was really bad on sensitive headphones and IEM's.

I orderer that model from them, returned it as described. Seller provided fast communication and excellent service. But my experience is that it's a bad match with the 2050. Could have Been a faulty model, so you could try it out and see if it works.

The "HA Info U2 Plus" should be able to work with a lot of Android smartphones / tablets, because the "HA Info U2" is reportedly working with a Samsung Galaxy Note 3:

Galaxy Note 3 >> USB OTG cable >> HA Info U2 >> AudioLab M-DAC >> headphones

The Android-powered Galaxy Note 3 has a native USB audio feature.
For Android devices which don't have a native USB audio feature, the USB Audio Player PRO (UAPP) app including its own USB audio soft driver could allow the Android device to work with a USB DAC like the "HA info U2 Plus".

There is a free trial version of UAPP available on Google Play store.

I just got the U2plusv2.. Some hiss at low volume. the volume pot is not very linear. And I cant get it to play any high res audio. 24/96 with wasapi and foobar2k is a no go. Also does not shot anymore then 16/48 in windows. It sounds good though, just not at advertised :frowning2:

Same experience here... Hissing sound and no 24/96. The seller (bigbargainonline) has changed the description since I ordered. Also some noise when turning the knob, occuring past 11 o'clock.

Hi All.
Happy and Healthy New Year. Have a question.I was thinking about picking up one of these amps from Amazon. Noticed a V2s version on ebay. Don't know if the amazon one is the v2s version. Don't know if it matters? I was thinking of matching it with a pair of Taskar 2050.  I want a good inexpensive combo. I'm a little over 60 years old so I definitely have some high frequency loss.
Any info or input would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Howard

Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Maybe it needs a driver?

Tried it with the driver.. No go! However i was told it should to 24/96 through a phone. It matches quite good with high impedance headphones. Sounds good as a dac only as well. Don´t know how it stacks up to the Fiio E10k, never heard that unit with my own ears but i see the response is quite different.
