You did not configure A3.5 correctly.Last question (hopefully for a while)
Finally able to see Gustarender 1v4 from Audirvana, but the supported PCM and DSD rates seem quite low
Max PCM 192, max DSD 128
Is that a limitation due to ethernet?
With USB I have max PCM 768 and max DSD 256

For a DAC on the LAN, you should configure it manually:

Et voila! I thought it would detect it automatically like if connected via USB.For a DAC on the LAN, you should set manually its specs:
Un gros merci! Thank you for helping out a newbie!

Oh dear,
I'm in for a treat when I read this.
I use Audirvana 3.5 myself, hope it won't be complicated to set it up.
But I'm looking forward to it anyway.
My R26 is due tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it.
I still don't understand everything about the fibre optic thing and how it works with the R26.
But it has time, I will first try to get it running with the Singxer Su 2 via I2S.
I hope that the settings in the Su 2 manual under the Gustard tab will work.

When you connect a DAC to the USB port of the Mac, it's not Audirvana that detects automatically its specs.Et voila! I thought it would detect it automatically like if connected via USB.

It's macOS who detects them, and Audirvana gets the information from macOS.
When the DAC is on the LAN, it's different. macOS and Audirvana do not see the DAC. Audirvana detects the streamer that is attached to it as an UPNP endpoint.
In the case of the R26, the DAC has a built-in streamer with an UPNP renderer, and that's the reason for which Audirvana sees it.

Hi together, I am considering the R26 as my possible next DAC and I am trying to find reasons to buy it
I saw in a review that it has a very big filtering station for the mains power. As I am also considering to get a pretty expensive mains filter including DC blocker I am wondering if this filter included in the R26 would make the dedicated mains filter and DC blocker obsolete. Any opinion this?
Best regards
Bojan

I am not familiar with dc blocker but with iFi AC purifier and these are good for the garbage bin, they induce more noise to circuit. you can search on YT.Hi together, I am considering the R26 as my possible next DAC and I am trying to find reasons to buy it

i have the niagara 3000 and it makes a difference in SQ, more so in a apartment than in house.
you have a trial period on every purchase, so if it dont help, you can send it back.

Hi, unfortunately the niagara 3000 is above my budget. I am considering the Supra Cables MD06DC as shown in following video:I am not familiar with dc blocker but with iFi AC purifier and these are good for the garbage bin, they induce more noise to circuit. you can search on YT.

Try av-connection.com for your supra cables needs. One of the lower priced store in europe. Have bought all of my supra cables with them.

The eagle has landed.
The anticipation had been great and for now also confirmed, definitely on the stereo over coax my pot of tea not just a cup.
For the Singxer Su2 owners I can say that the pin settings in the manual are the right ones for Gustard and work straight away.
Can someone possibly help to set up the Lan via Audirvana 3.5?

Did you try AC purifier yourself or just took the word from YouTube?I am not familiar with dc blocker but with iFi AC purifier and these are good for the garbage bin, they induce more noise to circuit. you can search on YT.

I have a USB drive plugged into my NAS. Ours is Synology 216j. The Synology web application sees the USB drive, but neither Roon, nor DS player, nor Bubble see it. The USB drive is a WD 3TB. It used to happen that the disk was not visible, but with some attempts I managed to make it visible. However, it's not visible for a long time and I can't get it to be visible. Bubble can use the Synology application, or MinimServer, however, the disk is not visible.
