On Ventura, Sharing may be under the General tab.
Right… But it's inactive… When I click on it, I can not access the settings.

I tried to use 2 networks with the Mac Mini M1 simultaneously (2x Ethernet, and Ethernet + WiFi) with previous macOS version, but it did not work either…

The Audiophilestyle solution was 'bridging' not sharing. Here is the post/thread I referred, (with an awesome mega 'sticky' summary of network/system tweaks btw). Refer linked post on that page under the bridging heading for 'Mac'.

Though I see now that sticky post was last updated in 2018. So maybe Mac OS updates mean the steps for bridging are no longer valid... I hadn't gotten around to reading more recent posts in that or other threads to see it it is addressed.

I do not know if Bridging is the solution to your problem but here is a link to the Apple instructions for Bridging using Ventura.

Awesome!!
Reach out if you have any questions!
I did have a question, the barrel for the TP-Link FMC is 2.5 correct, not 2.1. I just want to make sure I ordered the correct Jameco LPS. Thanks. Tagging @BShaw since I recall him having the TP-LInk setup that I used as my recipe.

Have any faced such issue that after ”updating” gustarender to 1.4 version, your network is not able to recognize it anymore ? I have been now updating this many times….. tried also this 1.2 version, but nothing helps (originally my r26 came with v 1.3). I have been booting r26 many times, also my network and Roon core, with no positive result :(

Hello,
@BShaw I don't have the R26 yet but it is on order.
As I saw in the manual, the Usb C port is responsible for the firmware update.
If you have the possibility to have a cable that connects Usb C and Usb A male, if available, then download the firmware to a Usb stick and connect it to the cable as described above.
At the Gustard, disconnect all cables except the Usb C cable and try the firmware update again.

There are sometimes devices that only update when all cables are disconnected, perhaps this is also the case here.

That would be one way to try it but no guarantee.
Good luck trying, I hope it won't be that complicated to update mine.

Speaking of updating, should I update mine if it comes with software 1.3?
Or should I wait until it is burnt in and do it later?

Another question I have is about the R2R Dacs in standby mode.
Should it stay in standby permanently or can I unplug it completely later when I'm not using it?

R2R DAC should stay permanently turned on, not standby

Cheers Nick, now I think of it, I think this is what I found and tried too, but still with no success. Maybe @Dandoudou will have more luck...
No… It does not work for me.
I'll try tomorrow with an Intel MacBook Pro.

I was the one asking about using wifi and ethernet at same time.
I have MacOS Monterey (imac intel 2014)

I don't have the Gustard yet, so still can't test.
However, I do see sharing option and can share my wifi internet to the ethernet.
I'm just not sure why the R26 would need access to the internet

My intention is to use imac wifi for internet, and stream to the R26 directly using ethernet from imac using audirvana

If it doesn't work, then I'll need to connect the R26 directly to my router via ethernet, but that will complicate things

Or just grab a Wifi extender with a Ethernet port.
That’s what I have because I do not have access to the router in my apartment.
I have the transmitter off, so nothing is sharing this extender.
I have another extender that handles every other device in my place.

Extender is set up near my audio system. Lan out to switch, switch out to FBM convertors, FBM convertors to R26.

Since I don't have the R26 yet, I attempted the following test:

Late 2014 Intel Imac macOS monterey
1) connected to my router via wifi for internet
2) connect to appleTV via ethernet directly to imac (ie. appleTV acting as the R26)

So, imac internet is working good.
on apple TV, no internet (I did not bridge or share internet, since R26 doesn't need internet, only connection to my imac)
However, AppleTV was able to stream my local files. Therefore, imac wifi + ethernet can work together at same time.
I just wouldn't see why the R26 would need internet access
