After the right burnin time (not less than 70 hs), the 8ft Equinox cable is the best chois for my HD650 in my setup.
I also have modified a bit the fit/position of the cans in my head, larger headband and seven steps on both the sides. More confortable and perfect balance.
This is the perfect sound I can obtein by my setup.

There wouldn't be extreme changes anyway,
so you can judge already now if you like it or not.
Later sound gets a bit more relaxed and more extended on frequency extremes
and soundstage and that's it...
IMO Cardas needs more burn in but Zu and Equinox do not need very long burn in and sound already out of the box actually as they sound generally.
