ST8B still looks like the best one they got (graph wise):

If only it had a DD...
That's the one I am interested in. BA bass can be good, T800 is the proof of that. If these have a similarly good bass, then it can be a winner. But I am really torn between this and Rose Technics QT9 Mk2...that one is really getting some praise. May be the real underdog here.

Looks too much of a DF tuning for me.

Also reminds me of the EX1000´s bad treble....

Yeah... I still think the GD7B I got is probably the safest of their high driver count hybrids.

T800 has bloated bass that I dont like tbh...

Their DT100 and DT200 bass however, is very impressive.

GD11 looks like an upgrade to the GD7B though

Ah, forgot that one existed. Yeah, though the treble drop off Just seems less controlled, which can be more noticeable. I mostly chose the GD7B because all of its BA drivers are named series from Sonion and Knowles and the graph looked pretty reference flat out till the treble rolloff.

I loved it. If only the rest of the sound wasn't that edgy, and it wasn't so source peaky, I would have kept one in my collection for sure.

I used my DIY foam mod to fix the treble, couldnt handle it otherwise.

Well, anything over 8k isnt that accurate anyway, but we see how it performs when I get it. That amount of driver is crazy though. :joy:

Definitely. For that kind of money, with a graph that's still quite reasonable, it is a very compelling option. Sometimes you just need to know if more is better, and that certainly is one of the more cost-effective options for that.

The GD11 also looks stunning to me. I am not a big fan of the GD7B visuals.

I got mine with a different resin and faceplate, as can be seen in my review. They look like the SD3 because I love all the purple and shimmery wood grain. Fair enough, though, if you weren't aware that changing the shell aesthetics was an option.

Graphs aside, the SE5, SE11 and SE12 do look great. Especially love the SE12 looks and the SE5 and SE8 have gold flakes throughout the body it seems.
As someone that's not great at reading graphs and knows first hand that a bad graph doesn't mean a bad IEM or headphone, I'm not too worried about them. But at these prices I'm waiting for some reviews first if anyone actually dares to be the first to get one. Hell the SE5 is the only one in my budget range and the Tri Starshine and Dunu EST 112 are not that much more expensive and they seem to get good reviews.

On a side note my GT12 is confirmed to have the SD7 faceplate and should ship together with the GT2 this week or early next week.

I just checked GS audio store, it seems all of their sonion electret lines are not available no more
That's interesting. I wonder if they found this site and realized that they were in the process of scaring people off.
