Brain burn in, expectation bias, deceptive marketing etc.
Yeah, brain burn in is a thing. Brain roasting.

Burning in is very convenient for audio product makers who use it to force their customers to get used to how a product sounds.

By the way the SE11 fr graph looks really nice with great treble extension and a very subtle bass elevation. I'd like that!

Brain burn in, expectation bias, earwax buildup, deceptive marketing etc.
Unfortunately, only my own subjective impressions, as I lack measuring equipment and purchase IEMs infrequently enough that it isn't worthwhile for me to purchase the transducer for it. Subjectively, the bass performance on my GD7B filled out dramatically after as little as 12 hours, but seemed to stop changing after about 30.

Also, with the cost of the Isabellae for a single DD earphone, I would be a bit offended if they didn't come with at least 12 hours of factory burn-in already. They're $600 on sale. Even with as well-tuned as they seem to be from the graph, that's quite a premium to pay if they won't even go to the effort of sending you a set that sounds like it should out of the box.

Another DD + 2BA version under HS Audio brand: AliE Product model is given as GD3A. But more expensive than SD3.

Another DD + 4BA version under HS Audio: AliE Product model is given GD5. More than GD7B .
Any idea, that HS Audio a copycat of GS Audio or simply other branding of GS? I do remember seeing HS Audio

Probably just using GS Audio´s OEM service. Like Fearless Audio.

Ahh, thanks. So fearless audio is also using GS Audio? Considering the reputations of Fearless, GS Audio certainly sounds like a solid OEM.

Lol ST10 chart looks funny. I’m receiving ST10 this week and will see how that 15db extreme V could come out. Maybe need to use Final Es…

ST8B from this new chart is looking good.

Update: I noticed ST10’s mid plateau reminds me of RS10. Probably need some bass trimming..

I'm kinda concerned about that roll off post 7khz... Wonder how the highs are. @RikudouGoku any update on ST8B impression from your acquaintance?

GS Audio SE12

I'd be happy to announce that I was actually the very first order of the SE12, which I've kept in secret until I had a really good understanding of this iem. Have about a week of usage.

I'll be writing a full review eventually when I have the time (I've been quite busy moving into a new apartment), but I'll give a general overview for now.

- V-shaped signature (not my ideal tuning)
- Extremely good bass. This is by far the most technically capable bass that I've heard in an iem, with a very full and audible subbass that reaches down to the lowest lows. I'm very confident it's bass can compete with the thousand dollar bracket.
- Snappy and fast transient attack.
- Soundstage plays with the z-axis, but generally an in-your-head experience.
- Shallower midrange (as expected of V-shaped signature)
- It's not as bright and treble intensive as the graph would indicate, which had me worried in the beginning
- Would like more treble extension

For those of you who are interested, I'm currently selling the SE12 as I am not a huge fan of the tuning. It's on classified forum for the curious minded (type "GS Audio SE12" )

Do let me know if you have any questions! :)
