I don't know if you already saw this link, but this company sells a stock of these nice units at this very low price. But the only problem is that they sell all 300 units together

It would be ok for a big group-buying, and then reselling most of them on ebay (even at $50 each it would be a good deal). But they are a bit too many and at least 20-30 buyers would be needed.

pretty sure this popped up before and when contacted the reply was that the offer isn't actually valid, and that they just hadn't got around to removing the page from their site

d-cee could be right. I actually saw this page some months ago but as it was still there I believed it was still valid. One of you from USA could give them a call asking if it's still valid or not (I am from Europe and my english is not that great), and if they would sell also a smaller lot, for example 100 units. Even at $20 or $25 it would still be a very good deal.
