I recently got the Bellari VP130 Phono Preamp. it warms up the sound considerably, but the background hum is annoying.

I've tried plugging all the components of my stereo system into a the wall 3 prong plug for grounding.

I also tried running the ground wire of the turntable into the Bellari and the preamp EQ I have but still I get the hum...

any suggestions?

1. (RFI) do you have a coaxial (tv cable) connection near the bellari? if yes, disconnect it
2. try lifting the ground, buy a cheap travel adapter and use only two legs to plug
3. buy an extension and connect it to another circuit
4. buy expensive ground loop isolators, balanced transformers, power conditioners(some)

if neither of these work, then it might be possible its not a ground loop but a more complex Radio Frequency Interference (RFI), which means something is acting as an antenna.

good luck,
