I thought this might interest a few here. Just released is a cd with re-constructions of Edvard Grieg's recordings made in Paris in 1903. Personally I've been waiting for this for three years! (I'm a fan of the pianist and study sound recording.. so this is a rare two-in-one for me).
The pieces are performed by Sigurd Slåttebrekk on the piano, and are played so that they resemble the original played by Grieg himself. There's a youtube video from the project below and a link to more info about the cd and the project.
