Hi, I'm called Allen and am lifetime addict of music, I just wandered over to the Head-Fi site today and look forward to reading the contributions, suggestions and resources which appear across the forum.

Thanks to Admin for kindly accepting my request to join.

I'm wondering if there are any users of the Cowon Plenue J player actively posting?

I ask this because despite having formatted a PNY 128 Gig microSXDC card to a FAT32 and transferred FLAC files onto it, the player's not displaying them.

I thought maybe the card needed to be inserted further (it does not fit close against the side) as it protrudes.

When pushed it prompts an update message on the screen, but on completion it's showing the SD card as unmounted.

I updated to the latest firmware but that hasn't resolved matters.

I'm unsure how to progress this further, could it be the SXDC is incompatible with the player?

Any advice, related experience or solutions would be most welcome.

Did you buy the card from a reputable seller? There are zillions of fake memory cards sold.

Hi, thanks for your reply. really appreciate it. Yep the card's from PicStop who seem to be legit merchants. I'll be sure to check that thread you kindly provided.
