Hawaii Five-O

btw: does anyone know Sammy Davis Jr. – You Can Count on Me (Theme From Hawaii Five O)? It’s even better – though not a TV theme song.

The Simpson's theme sounds amazing on a home theater system. It's Danny Elfvin, no?

Sesame Street: The Toots Thielman harmonica would be enough for this one to rate, but check out Maynard Ferguson's version of it sometime!

Agree with the Flintstones. I once heard a big band do it over rhythm changes. Btw, there's a GREAT cd that has all the music from the series including - the Way-Outs, the Diner-hop Song, Let the Sun Shine In, Soft Soap song, Hoagy Carmichael, "Frederick" singing mock opera after the cactus cooler bottle hits him on the head, and more.

For Gilbert & Sullivan fans: Mr Ed.

Someone mentioned the Beverly Hillbillies. Does the Bel-Arabs count?

And finally one of my all-time favorites. . . The Green Acres theme song. I arranged this for my high school orchestra way back when, but they woudn't do it.

HA HA HA HA! I whistle that all the time. Along with the Mister Softie song, and the tune they whistle while walking down the street in Snoopy Come Home. Drives people nuts.

Justice League of America (early 80s cartoon) remixed -played on cartoon network when they were doing remixes of cartoon theme songs. Hell I liked it so much that I Tivoed it and played the video over and over.
