I already have Koss KSC75's and Portapros, as you might guess. I am considering a cmoy, or amp such as ibasso, since I read the 75's sound even better with cmoy or an amp.

However, I'm also considering "upgrading" to the Grado SR60.

Would my money be better spent getting the Grado 60's OR getting an amp such as cmoy or ibasso?

If at all possible, I would like one or the other, not both, to limit my expenses. Anyone with experience using 75's with ibasso or cmoy is greatly appreciated.

That is solid support for the Grados.

I am still interested in an amp though, to drive headphones from my computer.

Any direct PA2V2 vs. Ibasso D2 comparisons from people who've owned or listened to both?

Definitely, definitely the Grados.

From a computer, the D2 is the no brainer choice there as it has a USB DAC.

Consider getting the MS-1 instead of SR60.

It's not much more expensive and it's a lovely bang-for-buck phone.

I have decided on the new fiio e5 amp coming out. Assuming that issues such as background hiss are worked out. In the future, ibasso d2 when I can afford it.

It looks like the Grado 60's are the way to go. From what I am reading, the 80's are only a slight improvement at most, and the 60's even give 225's a run for the money.
