Grado sr60 vs. sennheiser hd555?

Hang in there....stick with the Grado.

I'm using the HD-555 right now. I bought them from Crutchfield.com which on their website says 120ohm, but when I received them it was the 50ohm version. I can listen to them on my sony cd walkman just fine, its as loud as my hd-457 32ohm headphones.

The soundstage is wider, not that its made just for movies though but they do sound awesome (like Kill Bill) Stereo music sounds great too, I'd recommend them. Its been several years since I listened to an sr-60 so I dont know about that, just that it was in your face (a headbanger or someone who likes hard rap could appreciate them) I think they were sr-60s I listened to

i'm a senn guy interested in grados but i always hear these stories of fatigue and ear pain... maybe i should try MS-1s?
