Just a quick question if anyone is around at the moment. I am about to order a pair of headphones and can get the SR80's for around the same price as the SR60's. My question is, which should i get. From what i have read here i am considering just going with the 60's. I do know that it is all subjective but just wanting a bit of input before i buy.

Get the SR80s, and if you feel they are not bassy enough either put the pads on backwards or go to radio shack and get some regular pads.

It all depends really if youre going to modify them or not really.
The ONLY difference between the 60 and the 80 is the ear pads,and the cable.
Thats it! If you ever plan the recable and change the pads(which you probably will change the pads) well then get the 60s. If youre never gonna recable,id say get the 80's,being that you said you can get them for the same price. The 80's have a hair better bass extention and more treble extention because of a 4 wire cable instead of a 3 wire cable. Theyre the same headphones with a recable and bowl pads instead of comfy pads. Thats it.
