No, I don't have an RA-1 anymore. I do have a Grado HPA-1, which is the original version made by Joe Grado. It's got the same sound overall, but is IMO a better implementation. It direct comparison, I could hear grain in the RA-1 that was completely absent in the HPA-1, all other components being equal.
