This is....strange. A few minutes after reading this post, I popped in my Matrix HD DVD to test my new HD 600 (shootout in the government building is killer!). Anyways, remember how in the beginning of The Matrix, a grid of green numbers appear? Well, above the grid of numbers in the upper-left corner, a row of other numbers starts to appear. And the first three numbers that appeared? Yeah, that's right: 555

The odds of something like this happening is in the billions. That this actually happened can mean only one thing.

There is no HF-2.

We're all SOL. I just called Todd at his home and he confirmed that the whole production was being scrapped. The paypal folks are getting refunds and the rest of us will never be charged.

So, 25, including Todd's.

I WINNER.

I have to say 25 as I heard a rumor that Grado was having production problems with these and only the people who got theirs in CanJam 09 will own these

who's going to be the first to sell theirs for over $2k ten years from now?...

seems to be the trend...

i'm not going to venture a guess, but i hope they make the very last pair special in some (positive) way...
