I don't know if you've noticed, but in the link that you've posted, the comparison is between the GS1000i and the RS2i, not the RS1i.
Now, the RS1i and GS1000 have a very different sound signature, but the RS1i does seem to fit better with you're musical tastes, but i do agree with Gwarmi, about the PS1000, because ever since i bought mine, i have never missed the RS1i, and my GS1000 are gathering dust.
