I heard that the adapter coming with HD595 may cause more tension while being used than Grado's adapter. Is it true? Also, I see that Sennheiser has similar adapter to Grado's (the one with wire between the plugs). Can I buy that one instead? Thanks!

I have the Grado adapter. I wish I would have known about the sennheiser adapter before I bought it. Get the Sennheiser and save yourself $10.

I have owned both, and I think the grado adapter is worth the difference. Better build quality.

I just went for the grado over the sennheiser simply for build quality... I didn't short myself (too much) buying a sennheiser hd595 headphone so I figured it would be foolish to not get the best adapter I could...
