Got tired of my M50 due to lack fo comfort.
As suggested by someone I went to get CAL as my new replacement for comfort and sound. Sadly I was GREATLY disappointed.
There was absolutely no bass on the CAL. Even though it was comfortable my ears felt pressured and I just could not wear them for over an hour.
I've burned a lot of hours in the CAL as well and they were just disappointing. Very little bass and just doesn't have the *thumping* noise or the sound produced to make you feel it throughout your whole body.
I read a lot of people hate on the M50s here and a lot of people say the CAL is better. M50 was my first headphone as suggested by everyone else and after listening to the CAL they are godly compare to them.
You really learn to appreciate them after listening to another headphone of lower quality.
However Can anyone argue a headphone of $0 - $150 that can beat the M50 in sound and comfort?
My M50 is modded with Shure HPAEC840 earpads btw.
