Its not even that easy, actually; I had to install a while ROM built around it based on CM. I tried just flashing the radio and changing stuff in the Testing options but that didn't do it. It was pretty frustrating but 20+Mbps downloads are worth it ^_^
You can get LTE on the N4 by flashing the 0.33/0.84 hybrid radio at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2087227
And enabling LTE through dialer.

I haven't done it because I can't get LTE in my area anyway.
I'm sure sound control will work soon too.

I always used +5 volume boost and never messed with amp gain. What settings do you use?

:-/ That's a bummer dude. EPH100 are great little phones, sometimes I regret selling mine...
Yeah I just tested it and it made no difference. Dammit, it was worth a try. Anyway, now I'm waiting for my Fiio E11 to arrive, should come tomorrow, and my EPH 100 is broken as well.

Yeah they were so young :frowning2:! Anyways, I've sent them off for repair so not a total loss, just need to endure a week or so without them. Still got my XBA 1 but they have weak bass.

From what I've read its that easy but I guess it must not be. What sound control settings do you use?

Well I can't say it improves resolution or detail by leaps and bounds, but the noise floor is lower with low impedance phones, and I hear a bit less distortion, mostly in vocals and other strong midrange stuff. I think separation is a bit better but that could be a function of the other aspects.
Is there a noticeable difference in quality at -11 gain vs 0 gain?

Thanks I will try it when sound control is fixed for 4.3

That sounds good. I'll flash it when I get home or maybe tomorrow morning and see.

I just tried using a slimport adapter connected to an audio receiver through HDMI. Through the audio jack I normally get lots of fuzz but it seems that using slimport the internal amp and DAC are bypassed. Thus the audio quality is much better and I cannot hear any fuzz. Can everyone else with an adapter try it out and share your results?

Fiio could really use this setup to use an external DAC since it is made to work by default. (Yes, even on stock)
