good type of tip for seal?

You just have to go through the motions of trying tips. Every IEM is a different shape and they fit everyone differently. The other thing is internal diameter, as that varies too. You want the inner diameter to clasp the nozzle so they don't fall off when you take them out, if they don't have a lip at the end. The next thing is distance to the end. The end of the nozzle can be pushed up till it is flush with the tip. Or you can center the tips in the middle of the nozzle then let them find the place to rest. This is how you can make short nozzle sizes still work for yourself. Tip placement is literally the most important thing!

The MandarinEs Symbio Eartips are hybrid tips with silicone shell and foam inserts and are know for both durability and excellent seal. The foam is a memory foam and can be pretty firm compared to typical foam tips or as compared to Comply foam tips. You have to roll compress them before inserting into your ear canal and hold in place for several seconds to allow the foam to expand. As you wear them and the tips get warmed up they'll mold to your ear canal for a comfortable fit with excellent seal. Having said all this stuff, these tips aren't for everyone. Some people love them and others hate how they feel in the ear canal. I use them for a couple IEM and have no problem with them.

Here's the different models and the nozzle sizes they fit. Actually all models are 'Symbio W', but 'Wn' and 'Wa' include tube inserts which you plug in to fit smaller nozzles.

'Symbio W' fits nozzles 4.5mm - 6mm
'Symbio Wn' fits nozzles 3mm - 4mm
'Symbio Wa' fits nozzles 2mm - 2.5mm
