I am currently looking for a pair of portable, closed headphones to replace my Beyerdynamic DTX 501p's. Unfortunately my 501p's were stolen on a recent vacation. I would just buy the same headphones, but I feel there are better headphones to be had with a higher price range. I would like these headphones to have a fairly dark and warm tonality, though not completely necessary. I just need them not to be bright. In terms of form factor, I would prefer something fairly small and, well, portable.

You can't go wrong with sennheiser hd25 1 ii in terms of portability, sq, and durability.

Aren't those supposed to be quite bright and aggressive though? I am looking for something more layed back and warm sounding.
