Are you building your system based around your cables ??

PS: To pick a system, you have to consider your other remaining system as a whole to, eg. what are you headphones/amp?

In the fs/ft?

Otherwise, keep an eye out at Ebay. Sometimes Zu sells the Mobius for a discount price.

I think Zu makes most of their money on ebay, the prices on their website are pricey, I do not think most people purchase via the website, but on ebay.

I dont know who pays for the actual MSRP listed on their site when they hold auctions in the hundreds per month on ebay at a very significant discount on ebay,.

Thanks

I tried the FS/FT forum but someone beat me out. It was $205
Zu's website has it for $225. I did not know they were a direct seller. I have been looking through all the forum sponsers but to no avail.

I will try Ebay today

Thanks again

like I said earlier, dont go by the websites MSRP, its not uncommon for sellers to list a retail price tag thats waaaay up there, audiogon does it all the time,
its a marketing thing, IMO as a consumer if I saw a cable for $500 MSRP and saw it for $100 it would be mighty tempting to buy it wouldnt it?

to get an idea of actual prices they sell for just look up past zu auctions and see what the auctions end at, good luck

Im sure Zu has some store vendors out there somewhere, but from what Ive seen, its mostly been ebay.

theyre in house, which is probably why you dont find them anywhere else, fromwhat Ive read, they were a group of guys that branched off other cable companies, I think one of them used to work with kimber or something, and they made their own cable company. I think the main type of wire they use is silver plated copper, but they use some fancy term.

one thing is for sure, they have an excellent marketing guy, whos pretty much perfected the use of fancy audio lingo

, honestly I dont understand half the stuff in their description. but what I do understand, its theyll use fancy words for copper, or foam thats like way out there

like instead of crimp, they say, super induced metallurgy higher pressure forged termination, high cuuret low density formation or something.
