Hello!
I want to buy some good headphones for gaming (a lot BF4 online and single player shooters) with great soundstage, powerfull bass and great reproduction of mids and highs. I have 100-130 USD for this upgrade.
Actually i use CORSAIR Vengeance 1400 and i feel i want more for my in-game audio. The sound source is ASUS XONAR U7 external DAC/AMP.
I had Roccat KAVE 5.1,than TRITTON PC-510 HDA 5.1 and the sound signature from those and general soundstage was...a little poor at least, despite the 5.1 ch nice effect.
I'm seek of all that ''gaming'' marketing b******t that producers stick to their mediocre and expensive headsets.
So a nice quality stereo headphone with a dedicated mic is the way to go for me. I want 50-60 mm drivers, great soundstage, very good positional sound and stellar bass for my new cans. Take note that i have a big head,so the confort will be another important factor.
What is your choices, advices for this?
