I agree with checking Ebay, but there's no need to go used for a cheaper price unless you want it even lower. There's one seller that has them brand new for $215 shipped.

Check out inetdistributors ebay store. They have them for 299 "or best offer" I'd say you could get them for close to 200.

Damn, that dollar of yours is weak... Here in the EU (where Beyerdynamics come from) the lowest price I've found is 222 euros (about 300 bucks, me thinks)... In a sense this doesn't make, um, sense

Actually I don't know where these prices come from, since I just visited NYC and bought me a pair of both Grados and Audio Techinicas for a fraction of the price they sell'em here for... Must be the taxes.
