Coolness. Kilbey just reeks of it. They've got charisma just oozing out their pores.

If you want to try something a little harder (not metal, though), check out Girls vs. Boys. Harder, not as literate, just as cool.

Yeah, Kilbey is cool, but Marty Wilson Piper is the one that has the rock star guitar god act down when his is on stage.

Yeah, that's why I changed it to "they" in the third sentence.

PS You may want to go back, edit, and put back the "]" that you accidentally deleted.

Well, I certainly hope no one took list A to serious, but list B does have some pretty good music in it. I guess I could add a list C of some harder stuff like:

List C

Led Zeppelin
Black Sabbath
Judas Priest
Alice In Chains
Guns N' Roses

Starsail, The Drugs Don't Work, Lucky Man, Velvet Morning, A Man Called Sun, Neon Wilderness, to name a few. A Storm in Heaven is a better album than Urban Hymns in my opinion.

Dam it MALLOW you are right!
I got my used copy of VERVE "storm" and it is great from start to finish. Not quite 100% shoe gaze material, but very heavily influenced. Still don't know if any song on here is of the same stature as "bittersweet" or "sonnett" though.
