I was able to shove a pair of un-cliped ksc-75 earpieces into the 180s earmuffs. Now these will serve as my winter earphones

. My D1001 were not portable enough although they do keep my ears warm. The mod literally took a min to complete and is 100% reversible. All you have to do is remove the clips from the KSC75, and stretch the 180s inner pockets and shove the KSC75 in. It's a tight opening, but with some force it'll go in with ease. You then just have to position the earpieces so that you get the optimal seal and sound

Oh yeah forgot to mention, if you want to keep the bass down and keep some of the mids and highs, remove the earpads before inserting
