Well, he asked his question 6 years ago, so perhaps he found a solution despite our best efforts to confuse him.

I know its dangerous but I have been using the 3 - 2 prong adapter on many electronics without any issues so far. I'm talking about a couple of years now.

It's only dangerous if something goes wrong. Sort of like you don't beed air bags in your car unless something goes wrong. Mostly, it doesn't. Sometimes, it does. Some people recommend disabling your air bags too, but generally not a great idea.

I only use 3/2 adapters to diagnose a problem (along with a volt meter and careful handling), then solve it another way.

This may have been a subconscious decision on my part....i was only 51 at that time.....cool.
