New 7Hz G1:
Big, involving and mature for what it is. Forget about the price, if this is any indication of what full-range DDs are going to do in 2025 we are in for a hell of a year. Probably the most important thing about the tuning is the Pinna Gain is crazy smooth…….just silky and yet still holding all that detail in place.................."OH!".........really this is insane, it really is. The encasement is solid Aluminum or Zinc alloy or something, though the nozzles are gold plated metal. The angled 2Pins work like a charm, as fitment does. Supposedly it is tuned Harman……..but it is not boring at all………..probably the bigness of stage that makes it fun. Really 7Hz has their sights of SIMGOT AUDIO, and are presenting a formulation to both out-do SIMGOT and undercut the price, plus way smoother and flatter line frequency graph..............I’m taking the liberty to guess on? HA :)

The physicals:
Coming in at 9 grams the G1 is not heavy or light, but right in the middle. There really is a FLAGSHIP 10mm single full-range driver in there. 4 air vents make the stage a walk in the park. This is the very latest driver for 7Hz and it shows……..OH Gawd it shows here. Just big open and both deep and fast. Really I could not want a thing more, and when you consider the price, it’s stupid low cost for what you get. Maybe some had issues with these funny rubber cases they give you, as 7Hz has done this once before, only once you get the G1 in your ears……………..I promise you….....the case is the last thing on your mind.

Well a few years ago they released the 7Hz Zero. That IEM was great in that it had a very fun midrange. OH.......and the Zero was under $25. Now they have done it again, only this tune and set of technicalities is phenomenal for the price. Probably my favorite thing (personally) is I love how they did the Pinna Gain. Vocals are smooth as silk, yet have enough detail and pull away from the mix! Cheers! This one will be a legend I guarantee it!

I was just entering my card details to buy them and realised I have no use for them.

They are great out and about IEMs, where you don't have to worry about dropping them, plus they sound good enough that you can enjoy them! Just saying...................

I get your angle. I've, and this is just me, if I can't listen with my gear using the good stuff, I don't listen at all. Besides, the only time I get to listen is when at work or when the twins are asleep, and in those times having a banger iem set is redundant.

Any comparisions to get a better idea about them?
They from memory have that SIMGOT sound of their full-range DD. But I will do full comparisons in the review in a weeks time. Just opened the box. These are only first impressions, and I still need to do burn-in.

It is the SIMGOT sound only the Pinna Gain is smoother and not as bright, which makes for a more relaxed listen, though also the vocals are still well separated and out-front which may be partially from great driver technicalities? The sound stage seemed extra big (wide and thick, front to back and tall and low) on first listen. 7Hz have now made a TOTL Flagship Driver and somehow are giving it away. This G1 is not a toy, like the price would have you believe (we just had an example of that in this very thread a few posts back). That will be the biggest issue here, people will judge the sound quality on price alone, at the start, until the popularity takes hold, just like the Zero. But the G1 is way more even and mature sounding than the Zero 1 (it’s not midrange lopsided like the Zero 1) and has more bass like the Zero 2, only the stage is bigger and the details are more filled in.

Here is what I will be comparing the 7Hz G1 with.

The reasoning for these will become apparent in the comparisons when completed. Why? Well..............the first probably most similar would be the Kiwi ears Singolo…….a full range 11mm LCP at $79.00..................but this competitor sticks out not only because it is a full-range DD but because it has timbre down to a science. Plus what would happen if we put a $34.99 dollar IEM against a $79.00 IEM……….you see where I’m going?

SIMGOT AUDIO EW300: $69.99--1DD, 1Planar and 1PZT Hybrid
Kiwi ears Singolo: $79.00--1 11mm LCP DD
SIMGOT AUDIO SuperMix4: $149.00--1DD, 1BA, 1Planar and 1PZT Hybrid
7Hz G1: $34.99--1 10mm DLC DD

As such this battle will also kinda illuminate the character of the G1 in relation to the Hybrids. Because let's face it, there are no perfect IEMs. And while sure the 7Hz G1 is the new bride here, there are still aspects that the more expensive SIMGOT Hybrids just do better.......hello PACE hello. Yet where they start to falter is in timbre, and that we all know DDs do especially well......................let the battles begin!
