Just presented the 7Hz G1 to a EA500LM owner, he immediately realized how much their sound alike. The EA500LM has a bit more forward mids, the G1's mids is relatively cleaner with better separation, soundstage and dynamics to me.

The Sonus is a bit more expensive than the G1. Are you suggesting that the G1 is an upgrade? Comparing it to a movie/trailer doesn't say much. What are the differences in sub-bass and other frequencies? The pina gain on the Sonus isn't that high either, and the highs are very smooth...

You answered your very own question. What I meant was while the Sonus was even and complete, still to me the G1 comes off more involved emotionally.........as well as yes.............way more drama in the low end. Where the Sonus is more careful and reserved, the G1 is more entertaining. IMO Dare I say it, more correct. IMO
The movie trailer v the blockbuster full length! The G1 is more the real deal, for me anyway?
