Sennheiser HD215 - £34
Sennheiser HD485 - £40
Sennheiser HD515 - £42

Very hard to decide, I like all of them. I can get a discount on the 215 and 485 because it's from Amazon and I have some coupons, but I have to pay the full amount for the 515.
I just want the pair which is the best value for money, and does the job well (very good sound for cinematics and can distinquish were the enemy is coming from front back left right).

i can help u here ... HD515 has two models.
one is HD515 & other is HD515 G4ME ..which really is a cool Gaming headphone as marketed by senn.

Just checkout HD515 G4ME.....i am buying it in bulk for a friend who runs Counterstrike Teams.

go for the 485's.

excellent 'phones for the price. good for gaming due to their bass response.

Nice, anyone disagree?

515s are overpriced IMO. 215s are good but very airy and lack bass and impact. 485s seem the opposite!

U are going to be damn disappointed. IMO.

HD485 are no where even close to Gaming...

U rather try HD280 then...closed but comfortable & better soundstage than HD215.

Once again, i am a gamer and i know HD485 will disappoint any real gamer out there...

They dont generate the Gunshots well & the Radio voice is flat....Since they are Open u wont be able to hear the enemy footsteps clearly due to lack of noise isolation.

although HD485 have a great Soundstage but lack the 3D imaging.

In the end, their design doesnt even appeal to any gamer in the world ...ask any Gamer friend of yours.

Soundstage pretty much is 3D imaging.

And I don't think that the HD-485 would be that bad for gaming. The bass response is excellent, and the sounds that it produces are excellent as well. If you're playing in a proper environment, you won't have any trouble with not hearing anything.

If the 485 is anywhere close to the px 100 in terms of sound leakage, then I would recommend against them in favor of the hd 280s.

I find myself turning up the volume just to drown at the noise of my ceiling fan. On hot days, the px 100 would surely make me deaf if I were stupid enough to have them compete with my air conditioner.
