Please forgive my ignorance in case if I'm posting this is the wrong section
 
In Galaxy S2, there is an option 'Dock Settings' in which I can see 'Audio Output Mode' option. If we tick this it seems audio will route through Dock. Since Galaxy S2 only has USB port the audio should route through USB port
 
In that case can we connect any USB DAC with S2?
 
Also I came across an app in play store 'Galaxy Dock Sound Redirector' which will help in some case where it doesn't work it seems
 
Right now I don't have any USB DACs with me
 
Could you please let me know if this will work out? If this works out then it will really be a big advantage for S2 owners

I doubt the dock will allow the Galaxy S2 to be used with a USB DAC. I think it is just a line-out dock like what the IOS devices have.

I have this kind of OTG cable but when I connect to Focal XS which is a multimedia speaker with USB input its not working
 
Could anyone in this forum let me know their opinions/pointers on this?
