Ok, had these on almost at all times now.
I find the bass is great, and I can add more if I want via my ZO2 now (mainly mid-bass that "lacks") its got enough quantity and quality as "stock" but for some songs I feel its lacking, especially vs the TFTA's
Now the thing that I love, is their mids, they are a little laid back, a little rolled off, but I love it like that - not too in-your-face, in other words it doesn't hurt your ears.
The thing that makes me seek for "more" is definitely their soundstage.
It feels very closed in. And i find this due to the fact that they have no vents.
Having no vents, is brilliant for isolation, but the trade off is their soundstage being very...closed
Like being on the PC, and EQ'ing your environment to "room" whereas it should be "living room" - and where the IE8's sound like "concert" -> hope this is making sense.
Long story short:
I love them, that being said, i really love the openness and soundstage of my TFTA 1XB's -> I will be making a "bass showdown" thread soon.
1XB's vs MG7's.
Also believe it or not, I have EQ'ed these and they sound MUCH better - instead of being "lifeless" on a flat EQ, the added mids and highs I have make them "come alive"
I also have to say an amp really helps these too. They aren't as "loud" as my TFTA's, they are....well imagine like trying to drive the D2K's, but in IEM terms.
This is how I feel about them.
I might be trying some ASG-1's but atm these are my main earphones.
I might switch between the TFTA 1XB's and these from time to time, but both earphones in my eyes are great.
People who found the TFTA's "lacking in mids" are partially right, when compared to the likes of the se535's or the MG7's - but you have to remember, if you are buying the TFTA's expect some exquisite bass response.
I still rate my TFTA's very highly, especially for their price (RRP being $50 cheaper than the MG7's) - Although I might drop some of the mids ratings of my TFTA's in my reviews, I can't go without saying, the TFTA's are the best present I've ever gotten

MG7's are the best "on deal" earphones I've ever bought.
$95 shipped? God damn great deal for these. I could see myself paying the RRP of $200, but if it wouldn't be for other earphones there, I would hesitate over its soundstage.
Hope this helps a little

If the atrio deal is still on, your a basshead, with no real soundstage expectations - the MG7's are a no brainer - what are you doing still reading this? GO NOW
